Since then, the Metro is running really well. getting a solid 43 miles per gallon, as of feb 2007, I estimate it has saved me approx 300 gallons of fuel. I drove it to Gallup, NM and back (1800 miles), and at an average of 70 MPH, it got 41.5 MPG. UPDATE: June 2007 My mileage has increased to 48 (mostly highway, but some city). I think the engine must have developed full compression by now - maybe I have slowed down a little, too. Still running great! |
