A New Park Bench July 15, 2002
This one is mounted on the Fayetteville square. The seat, back and armrests are cast and polished concrete. The frame is mostly made of 3/4" square steel which was bent while red hot.
The whole thing is about eight feet long, so it will sit 3 Americans or 4 or 5 normally sized people.

It's pretty heavy. The seat took 4 guys with considerable effort to carry.
  This bench has gotten a lot of good response from people who frequent the square. They love the smoothness on their tushes. They also say it's got a comfortable profile. It's starting to polish up more from the daily use.
