LED Flashlight

The body is a piece of thin guage aluminum tube (it must have been a tent pole or something) which I reamed out a little to get a nice fit for the batteries. The end caps and switch keeper are aluminum bronze. There is one plastic part, two springs, and a piece of stainless for the switch.

It runs on 3 AAA batteries and has 2 white LED's.

It took 71 ohms worth of resistors (for each LED) to get the current to 18 ma. I used 2 surface mount resistors soldered to a small piece of copperclad.
